silvery now the small downs rains
must ripple the vagrant streams
God in a blind season turns around
the weeping of the leaves
clouds may clear in distant spheres
time must melt away
a thousand wars be not declared
before the breaking of the day.
God in a tilted season
rescues us from pain
cleansing all the mirrors
banishing disdain.
Love in a blinded season
Christ will dream again
all our hearts be mended
all our kin be kin.
in a sidereal garden again
all the roses sigh
Light in an ambered season
drives the sorrows wide
wide of the mark that was our distress
Soul in an infinite kind of dress
Be still- for He is nigh.
