Simple But Strict Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Simple But Strict

Rating: 5.0

With little milk and bread
Pet will follow till you are dead
A fine show of loyalty
With just or little of royalty

How much we are blessed by almighty
Still we fail to show little of curtsey
we sometimes boost' I don't believe Him'
Unnecessarily argue and stand as lone player in team

Can't we learn something like gratefulness?
Can't we smile and show gladness on face?
All for no cost and freely available
It will push away the troubles

How much have we been given by creator?
Free air, water, and lovely environment of nature
Only we need to look around and enjoy
There is all round show to afford the joy

When animals can respond to little love?
We are human being and certainly believe
Love and loyalty come from the royal blood
For it you need not offer package or food

Animals know their master well
Their eyes speak and clearly tell
That their allegiance lies with head
They obey without dispute and read

Someone said at once 'every dog has prise'
Thank god this could have been said with surprise
Men are not legging behind in this respect
Hey expose weakness and demonstrate in acts

There is no comparison for in between animals and human
We need to learn lot more from them even
We deceive people by stabbing from the back
As such animals have nothing in person at stake

Let us pick the threads and willingly discard
Such tendency that has pushed us backward
We can certainly regain lost pride
Our face can hardly find cover to hide

Everybody ahs special role to play in this universe
Somebody may enjoy the life and someone may curse
Yet life is full of mystery and no one can predict
So follow the path honestly and remain simple but strict

Nightowl an interesting write. Unconditional love is rare these days. Pets react to whomever feeds them and shows kindness. Not sure it's love. Children' can be nurtured with love. And God must have such an abundance to love He's still as patient with us as He is today, despite all our failures. A thoughtful write. Enjoyed it. tfs
