Simplicities Poem by Candika Niada

Simplicities

Oh, how I yearn
For the simplicities
Of life.
A chocolate bar,
A cold Dr. Pepper,
A good book,
A warm blanket,
And someone to share my love.

I would like nothing more
Then the simplicites
Of life.
A cold juicy peach
On a warm summer's day,
A cup of hot cocoa
On a freezing winter's night,
And someone to share my love.

What I'd give
For those little simplicities
Of life.
A furry little being
Snuggled very close,
And children running around,
With Glee.
Oh, And someone to share my love.
