Serenity Poem by Candika Niada

Serenity

Rating: 5.0

Early in the morning,
As the sun rises in the east
A flower opens;
An elm tree sings,
As the breeze blows;
A bird flies in the distance,
And a cricket chirps nearby.
I put myself in this day,
Right there under the tree
Watching the birds;
I hear the sound of mother earth
Telling me the purpose of life.
I am at peace with myself,
For this is my Serenity.
This incredible place of meditation
Calms my very being.
It soothes my soul.
