Simplicity Poem by Margaret Ann Newcomb

Simplicity

Rating: 5.0

If I remember to be
in this moment, every moment,
it is then that life is perfect.
As it is meant to be.
Retreating from the chatter,
when I allow no thoughts to ponder,
I allow no voice to linger
in my mind, is when I'm free.
It is now.... to see the flower
It is now.... to smell the summer
It is now.....to know the brilliance
of this moment.....I can see.

Dear Margaret, That was a beautiful poem, Simple, and touching. That's exactly how I feel.

So simple and so beautiful. Beauty is but a naked, simple creature to enjoy it. Strong verses with few simple words. A success of 10/10. Thanks dear Margaret. Joseph Josephides - Member of the International Society of Poets (ISP) Intern.Library of Poetry awarded

dear Margaret, I've been going over my POemhunter website here at the end of the year and just wanted to thank you very much again for taking the time to comment on my poetry. Affirmation means alot to poets, and your feedback means alot to me. Re-reading some of your poems makes me feel like there's an artistic kinship between us....... all the best to you in 2008! Craig
