Simplicity Poem by Lu Vernezze

Simplicity

Rating: 4.5

You were the last friend i ever made
But the bestest
The very bestest

Your heart sang me a serenade
And i kept it
Of course i kept it

Now i may have gone
But you're still my number one
And i don't regret it
How could i regret it?
I love you

So now i may be six-foot under
But i hope you know you made my life a wonder

I cannot believe i meant something to you
If i could still smile i would
An in spirit i do

I'll watch over you
And make you safe
And happy
Don't worry
I'm still here

I just want to thank you
For what you give to me
A happy
Lovable life
In simplicity
