Sin Eater's

Beneath the full moon, in meadowed wood,
Feasting on sorrow, yellow marrow and bone,
The sins of others, bitter food,
Swallowing darkness, not their own.

Their eyes are hollow, hands are worn,
Yet in their silence, mercy blooms,
For every curse, a heart is torn,
A burden carried by half to their tomb.

In whispered prayers, the night grows deep,
As sinless souls, they fall asleep.
