Since You'Ve Been Gone.. Poem by Tiya Sen

Since You'Ve Been Gone..

Love songs sicken me to the core,
Happy endings make me shudder even more,
Lovebirds chirping just plainly annoy me,
Couples holding hands totally destroy me.
I wish I lived in a vacuum since you’ve been gone,
I disagree with everyone who says it’s been too long.
I can’t seem to find my smiles.
I don’t seem to care much for the lonely miles.
As long as you are mine in the end,
I won’t feel a thing without you, during this eternity that I spend.
I am neither crazy nor weak,
For knowing it’s only you that I seek

These are words of pure love not coming out from your barren lips but from the very deep bottom of your broken heart, well-penned, great talent, keep it up! I have been there many, many times and I survived and so you, too, one day! Love and Peace...
