Single Mother Poem by Matus Michael

Single Mother

Rating: 4.5

She raised a family single,
Everyday was a battle,
Fighting to put food on the table,
Trying to make her kids lives stable,
All she did was hustle,
Written on her face was struggle,
But she was so humble,
Loving and gentle,
Cause her inspiration was the bible,
Made her kids stay out of trouble,
Stay free from the bottle,
She prayed that her kids never stumble,
And her kids made it with that victory title,
she is a mother and she was able.

What a lovely tribute to your mum. I had to pause for awhile after reading the poem to reflect on what most single mums go through. In the poem your captured, the faith, love, and sacrifices she has to put up with to make everyone happy at all times. May the LORD ALMIGHTY continue to protect her in the safety of HIS Presence. A well articulated poem beautifully penned. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.
