Sinkhole Poem by Lamar Cole

Sinkhole

Rating: 4.5

It was a place with beauty to behold.
But in the midst of the beauty laid a sinkhole.
It was like walking in a beautiful inner city park.
But getting clubbed in the head after dark.
There would be danger to beware.
There was more than just beauty there.

thanks for the warning...and the reminder that I'm yet to use 'club' in a poem...let alone 'clubbed'....'sinkhole' too!
