Sinking In The Depths Of My Demise

Sinking in the depths of my demise
I watch the ambitious still arise
my head is spinning with soulful cries
cries of a life that got twisted by lies.
Sinking in the depths of my demise
I watch the hopeful still arise
those willing to labour a day in the mines
and are willing to stare success in the eyes.
Sinking in the depths of my demise
I watch the passionate still arise
those willing to bear along with the tides
acknowledging the value of friendship and old ties.
Sinking in the depths of my demise unlike others,
myself and I still dies, rejecting the words of the wise
