Sinking Ship Poem by Holly Somer

Sinking Ship

O captain turn around and look about face
Were about to hit an iceburg
Go help the people relax and keep them safe
While your mates see how many miles we are from the ice
They report to us back
Saying there isn't much time
Why did we waste it worrying
When we have left with our family
O captain I must say goodbye
For were about to be hit
Thank you for protecting everyone on board
But now I am being called to the lord
