Sinner Poem by Mario, Lucien, Rene Odekerken

Sinner

I carry the weight of my own shadow,
heavy with choices made in silence.
Hands stainted by the touch of desire,
eyes blurred by what I tried to claim.

The mirror is unkind,
yet it does not lie.
It shows the cracks I carved,
the hollows where light dared not linger.

Redemption waits, they say,
but Iam not running.
I walk,
one step closer to the fire,
or the stars.

A sinner,
not lost,
but searching.
