He had been a talented actor
And also a clever actor
In not having squandered all that
He had earned, and instead wisely invested
For his progeny, progeny alone.
He stands as a statue at the nose
Of Mahatma Gandhi’s in Marina Beach,
The vital centre of Chennai City..
