Skin Poem by Solem Moonlight

Skin

Laid our fears out like birds
Buried by their chirping words
In a tongue that sounds so sick
Blisters quick

In the price of a kiss
She said
Lies that broke in my head
In the end
It was just
A little piece
Of Lust

In this world we find reward
Now reward the thief
And charge the Victim

Now in the midst - of all of this
I will find - the reason why
You've stripped my heart
t'was once divine
And in those eyes
I saw the rise - of the son
This is the day
Now we're done...
