She Asked
'How much do you love me'

He Said
'If I could tell you
If I could Describe
All that I feel
And all that I want
You would never be the same...'

He continued..
'We would run away..
Forget the world
Swim in the smoke
Of the place that holds hope..'

Then he admitted
'I'm half glad I can't tell you how I feel..
This way..
I have the great opportunity
Spending my life
Trying to show you...'

She cried..
'I can't wait for the proposal..
I'm so sorry..
I just can't wait for the future'

He laughed
'That's okay boo..
I love you
One day we will remember how big of a rush we were in
And we will count all of the days..
When we get there..
Our forever..'

He opened his eyes -
Had closed them once -
Then placed heaven he was..

She laid on his casket
Tears accompanied with flowers
Hours and years
Once far
Now near..

In heaven he broke
In heaven God spoke
You lived a life of love
And now you're home
Here above

The man said to God
'This is no home
If it is, this home is cold..

A home is filled with love
And someone to hold..
Forgive me God, as you did before..
But Beg me so.. Just send me home'

God whispered..
'You'd give up heaven..
Give up perfection..
Give up everything
That I have created? ...'

He said..
'No God..
The reason I leave..
Is because I can not give up what you made
Give up your perfection..
Perfection is not of divinity
But of love!

Heresy is what I claim..
I do so not in your name
But in your heart..
Because you see it's true..
And we must never be apart..'

God cried..
For the first time in a while
.. He saw why the watchers fall
And why this man was so strong

He simple said..
