POEM "SKIN DEEP" by martin gedge

Whatever could be sweeter then an apple from the tree
a polished prize of purpose with the tart of mystery
a succulent of juicy in a rose just sent to thee
sex is in the passion of her eyes
the skin to graze the surface with the lust of wanting more
thirsting for the flavor with each bite to reach the core
nectar seeping through of every rich encasing pore
kissing on the lips to mesmerize
an orchard in the covets of a warm and summer sun
the balance of the boyish charm unsettled and undone
an angel dances to your soul as you feel her fingers run
a bruise of every nail there is to stick
the love to which you dine into the forest of the green
a fantasy to lavish in a storybook and dream
a pale of pleasure pretty in an envelope of cream
a treasure in the measure that you pick
the hold of what entices is the beauty and the grace
reflections in the shadows of her red mascara face
the tempting and the taunting and the wanting of a taste
to drive your hearts desire to the deep
and once to have the heaven in the dress of burning flame
you let the seed inside you with the goal of taking aim
to wrap you up in covers like the poison in the vein
to close the very curtains of your sleep...
