Sky And Sea © Poem by Roann Mendriq

Sky And Sea ©

Sea rolled in his tempestuous tide,
lonely in his ebb and flow;
Glancing up to watch his bride,
Sky, who gazed on him below.

Sea waved with joy to see her dressed,
in clouds of ribbon, in surprise
Sea gleamed in his sapphire crest,
for Sky had blue stars in her eyes!

For years, they loved but stayed apart,
they yearned and longed to one day meet;
Divided yet they shared one heart,
that they might one day be complete.

Then from their love grew fast a mist,
And Sky met Sea and swiftly kissed!
