Slave Master Poem by Louis Cecile

Slave Master

Rating: 5.0

Why chase the master

Because in his status he will fall

Enslaved I maybe

But life to death the human soul will always be free

My spirit though down

Awakens

In reality the master is his own slave

And I am truly awakened

To conquer is to find a bigger place to hide

The fear inside only brings you closer to judgment

My master my slave

What lies beneath the grave

One summer's day I was down in a sheep dipping tank set in the earth and in the clean water I was using to wash it out I saw reflected the beauty of the sky above.Even in the darkness of death there is the bright light of Heaven.Enjoyed your poem.
