Slaves Of Time - Poem by Hasmukh Amathalal

We are human
But permitted to act as inhuman
We have powerful weapon
“To say sorry” And the game goes on

We can err
Create terror
But never try to see in mirror
Even for the sake of humor

If we are told
Merely to live in world
Like sages of past history
We shall cut only sorry

Life shall be hell
And nothing shall be left to tell
People shall push you to corner
The life shall be hated sooner

Not all the good things can be practiced
Not all things can be promised
As we are slaves of time
We may miss many things at a time
