The time when night greets the day,
A game in my head they play.
He drags me into his painful embrace
Insomnia, he wins - he wins me every night!
While sleep it betrays me, did you give it a lesson or two?
& I stare @ the ceiling, stare @ it- I imagine my eyes are bloody red by now;
It's been days- or has it been nights? ?
The game transforms to a war inside my head,
As they explode-
The bombs of my thoughts!
Silence them with those stupid capsules - I try to;
But then in the silence I see you!
& you- You say things I don't want to hear;
I know I am not thinking straight-
But your voice it's coming out loud and clear.- Clearer than ever.
The illusion - it's breaking in my delusional dream!
He- he is back for my company you see?
You can leave now, cuz he does not want you here, neither does some part in me!
& I - I stare @ the ceiling with my eyes wide open;
Everything is clearer than it should be;
May be I am hallucinating now,
Or may be I had been hallucinating till now?
