Sleeping Around In Your 70s Poem by Chuy Amante

Sleeping Around In Your 70s

We Sleep Around in our 70s!

At 70 certain privileges
we have indeed acquired
we lay the hell down,
whenever we feel tired!

We sleep in cars, taxis, shuttles
at dinner in the dining chair
at all the Drs. appointments,
on the porch in underwear!

After all this living
we deserve to rest at will
We'll do it where we want
tho in the car it may kill!

So please help us out
the sleepy older folks
as children you certainly will
enough with all your asking
or I'll need more sleepin pills
