Sloth Poem by AnaDiamond AA

Sloth

Rating: 5.0

'Queen of meth;
My baby had an affair with Dr. Death
Small town girl with big city dreams
Left everything behind to try the extremes;
She will find it - the life of streets; in different beds, crowned by too many different men
Oh, she will go to another round -
- Too soon will hit the ground;
White crystals everywhere'

I dreamt of Paris,
Wearing pair of Jimmy Choos
Wasting my days with Elvis,
While listening to Cocaine Blues
It didn't go exactly as planned;
That early one morning I woke up for his strange sounds
I saw him take a shot of cocaine and try to shoot his mistress down
I should've sought for help but 'You will be okay, ' I said
In the toilet he overdosed, and soon I found him dead

'She is a princess lost in the shadows
She doesn't know what happens behind those curtain rows
Doesn't believe in faith, living the life like a wraith
Her ma is waiting for her to come back from that windowpane
But now she belongs to them, 'Call me Candy Cane'
Her ma is begging her to stop,
But she drives to motel room in her little crop top
They promised to make her a star,
'This is how they all start'

Motel room, oh so bright
Everywhere full of fairy lights
Lets put on a show for you, daddy
I can give you all I've got
I'll be such a tease and so, so hot
Rest in peace for those who're not!

'Patrol,
She has lost her grace
Doesn't act as she should,
She burned all her almighty gifts
To have something she is not entitled to

She put that gun on his head,
As he was lying on the white sheeted bed,
Her hands were red - Is he dead?
Couldn't yelp, nobody could help! '

Corrupted image of this starlet
Chocking on ecstatic chocolate,
Keep acting like nothing's wrong
Pretend to be the goddess of Hollywood; they told to stay strong.
Survive this scandal but light up another candle
If you wish to live forever,
Instead of God, pray for Sharon Tate -
She is never out of date!

Honey, dress me with the prettiest gown
My time has come to step down, let it all drown
Lets commit it together; suicide has never looked any better -
Then we can live happily ever after

'Ended up like Monroe,
Left her corpse as a treasure at the end of the rainbow.
And she was forgotten, like all the other dreamers.'
