Slow Days Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Slow Days

Most days are fraught with work;
ordered chaos surrounding a busy life
with little to no opportunity given for ease.
So when a slow day arrives
like a stray kitten,
nourish it and hold it close.
It's in the smallest and quietest things,
the unexpected treasures,
that spirit breathes back into your life.
