Sm013. Mother's Grace

THE MOTHER OF PONDICHERRY

Mother takes care of her devotees,
Even if they don't ask for her grace,
When they're busy in their jobs,
As who's who, she very well knows.

A farmer may be well trained
But as and when he's controlled
By external factors like floods,
Drought, he becomes helpless.

There're many such handicaps,
To weaken even the strongest ones,
And Mother's grace makes them
Bear those shocks every time.

In poverty, a poor man suffers.
Problems many a blind man faces.
Chronic illness a sick man bears.
The wife cares but the husband is careless.

This kind of many events occur,
In such cases, Mother takes care,
When they pray for her grace
She gives it liberally always.

She considers hard work as a prayer,
That is unnecessary for a worker,
Who works to the best satisfaction,
Of himself as well as the institution.

While the field gives back to you,
To the extent what it gets from you,
Mother gives you much more than,
What you offer to her in your turn.

While tradition says one must suffer
For his past karmas as a performer,
But Mother can wipe out sufferings,
When one prays for her blessings.

But only then when he realizes,
And regrets for his mistakes,
She comes to his aid well in time,
When he doesn't repeat the same.

Like spring in the river bed,
That gives water when tapped,
Mother gives her love with grace
To the needy when he prays.
