Small Things Poem by soren Barrett

Small Things

Bits and pieces left behind
A fleck of skin, a hair to find
Drops of sweat absorbed by the ground
A little spit on the pillowcase found

Mosquitos carry drawn off blood
Cut fingernails fall in the mud
A word rides soundwaves in the wind
Faded thoughts I can't rescind

Tiny parts of me are found
In air, water, plants, sound and ground
