Smile Poem by Efren Petalver Carranza

Smile

Just smile at me and that's enough
To reach my world's top….most
Cause the way do
It endears me so much
Let it be unfolded
You swear it to me
Never to someone
Your smile is just for me

Gusty smile bewitching
Roaming within your eyes
Amidst
Calls and fills my lift-ups
Extol and rejoicing
I got you smile

Painter, Oh! I wish I could be
And I would paint that smile for me
Yet, it isn't my integrity
But being a poet is all of me
To describe how enchanting all they can be
Smile

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
A simple and gentle smile increases friends, but it's your genuine heart that will keep them forever.

The Importance of Smile

Well, I have not met a person who has not learnt to smile. In fact, our parents taught us to smile on the day our first baby tooth came out… though we don't remember when….but as parents to our children. Smiling and laughing are signs of joy as much as relievers of stress to defy troubles and trials we have at work or at home. Smile is a true blessing for persons to have added in their characters - despite of what we can't contain - to balance life for something we desire; though, it is the cheapest ticket to gain friends.

There are, however, smiles that we can simply identify from its act to display upon our eyes. And I admire a smile that comes voluntarily from the heart with a nod to greet my existence and in return, I do the same. When I see a genuine smile from depth of their well-being, I see my sense of gratitude larger than life for a day makes. When I see a smile with decimal tooth forced by lips or hands to cover, I am in no position to disdain their appearances but to trust their company than to pose fear to a doglike grin to attack. And when I see a smile that tracks my sensitive side, I will not put a penny into it, for it is a loss of time to find its meaning than to track a smile that is so appealing with a wink in it. Lastly, smile keeps us younger and it enhances good health for us to live longer. Though our minds are occupied with worries, let us keep on smiling, for these worries will eventually go away than to detach an eternal smile from our characters to be mean and unfriendly.

Smile and you will meet no enemy, they just wonder and walk away! !
