Smile Is Of Villain - Poem by Rm.Shanmugam Chettiar.

‘One could smile and smile and still be a villain’
The smile comes very easily to a villain.
The one who is sober is branded a brute.
We seek smiling faces as flies do flames.

There is an old song about smiling faces
''Smiling faces show no traces of lies..they don't tell the truth'' Staple singers.

Your poem is certainly in that same train of thought and true. I know a lady that from an observers observation she's a lovely lady. Look deeper and the devil lives there.
