Smile On Arrival Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Smile On Arrival

It was precious diamond
Not to be left for second
She was not simple catch
It was difficult to reach

She is lying just before
Eyes closed for not to stare
The concern is shared
But eyes have not dared

She held his hand
As if newly turned friend
There is enough of warmth
To fuel the fresh breath

She airs whisper
And offers
Total surrender
To speak no more

Yes, it is union
On earthy heaven
Two souls have specially met
To stay and greet
