Sneaking In Poem by Randy McClave

Sneaking In

Scream and shout
Argue, curse and worry and pout,
Don't care, and don't say a prayer
Then the Devil isn't there.
Lie and cheat and steal
Don't ever help or heal,
In your worries groan, never atone
The Devil will then leave you alone.
Hate others and judge
Against others gossip and hold a grudge,
Shed a tear, and live in fear
Then the Devil is not here.
Murder, hate and falsely accuse
Ridicule and mock and abuse,
Stay out of a pew, commit blasphemy too
Then the Devil won't bother you.
Don't go to worship ever at all
Don't know the gospels written by Matthew, Mark, John or Paul,
Never do you see, how the Lord loves you and me
The Devil will then let you be.

Go to Church every Sunday
For strangers and neighbors you help and pray,
You try not to sin, against God or women or men
That's when, the Devil tries to sneak in.
