Snow Poem by Forever Underestimated

Snow

Rating: 5.0

Your heart
Is like snow
Beautiful
Perfect
It touches everyone
Cold
Ice
Depressing and sad
From a distance,
It's a wonder
Up close,
It depends
It could be gentile and delicate,
Or whip you in the face
For me, a combination
If someone holds out their hand,
A piece might fall and melt
A tear
But most don't think to hold out their hand
No
They'll only watch
And play
Crush you
You bring so much joy
But endure so much pain
You're always moving
But almost impossible to miss
You bring an essence of mystery
Never the same to anyone
Individual
With so many faces
So much purpose
To me, you're a wall
I can't see past you
You overpower so much
Everywhere I look
You're there
You bring both joy
And pain
I'm holding out my hand
Waiting to catch you
You're surrounding me
But so far,
You've missed me
I'm untouched, you're falling
But I'm not giving up
Not until the storm ends
And you're gone
I'm not sure if that will ever happen,
Though
Everlasting December
Forever endure
You

Wow! Impressive write about snow. I loved the contrast of snow with that of a person within this lovely poem. Well written & enjoyable to read. I gave it a 10. Spiritsong
