Snow Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Snow

Snow

Living by the North Pole
-we look at blankets in sky
-crawling-mingling dark clouds
-they seem to be free, dancing, hug
-they can be fighting; we, count drops.

"This one will bring rain, "
"That one looks like a bear, "
"What about other one? "

Crazy, pleasant and child-like
-is joking with clouds
- (for pastime…)

Soon will come the winter
-is autumn. For long we,
-miss snow to the knee.
-Oh, damn cars and engines!
-Will we have white virgin?

News read:
- "Tehran had snow fall in the fall."

My simple, injured and humble mind
-makes vessels, travels on clouds
-it soars by riding horse; as
-witches use stick, of broom…

I land in a-once-called: "Qasr-Qajar's"
-tired and bearded, have gone wild
-to the laws of: "Palace".
-Once forced in, it is a "prison"
-nothing seems or is done different.

Mad, went out, watched flakes in racing
-as had seen our goats in returning
-with shepherd; when done with grazing.
-One was in the childhood, next Tehran
-now, here, a new prison
-keep watching, eyes open
-see the hell in tray of heavens; all the same…
