Snow Fairies Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Snow Fairies

Snow Fairies

I shoveled snow so fast at my door
And the snow fairies twirled around me.
This circle of beauty and joy
Made me wonder why.

What did I do so good
To deserve this God's blessing?
I spoke to the fairies out loud
To ask them about their dancing.

The fairies kept twirling around me
In a Heavenly gorgeous whirl.
They did not answer me at all
But they kept hearing my call.

Finally, one said that I was beautiful
And that all humans were so.
So the fairies all danced in happiness
In this winter land covered with snow.
