The sides of a snowflake
different from all
yet soft, quite and gentle
as they fly at nightfall
They glisten and shimmer
With reflections in our eyes
As I kiss you softly
Our warm hearts rise
Stop you said, please
For we do not know the truth
What are we to make of us
This deep yearning from our youth
Life is a timepiece
We have passed it's each hour
But Love happens in seconds
A moment, a memory from afar
Happiness is not forever
As life's a vicious circle
But the feelings and my smile
Lifts your spirit, heart eternal
We have fears and doubts
In life that we are allowed
Risking it all for some closeness
But here we are somehow
As the snowflakes settle
cold and beautiful on your lips,
I kiss you quick, but reality has settled
leaving this friendship and love eclipsed.
