Snowflakes replace
autumn's golden leaves,
frozen tears of my people
drift in the air.
Yet the sun still rises,
its warmth reaching deep,
promising to lift their hearts,
as green blades of grass and blossoms
push through the soil in spring,
blooming softly
from the snow's embrace.
