Snowy Evening Poem by JAMES T. ADAIR

In case things get hectic, as they're beginning to, know that I wish you a Happy Christmas. Christmas comes whether you're ready or not! My heart feels like it's pulling many ways. There are many I care about and feel for. Some care is returned, some is aknowledged, some is discarded...but it's all I have to give so I give it freely..not knowing my fate, or who will love me or be the one I may spend my remaining days with. I don't understand any of it myself sometimes. But I feel for you...you're someone. So this is not so much about me....it just comes from me... Hope Christmas is happy and know that someone thinks of you... as you look out at another snowy evening and think of someone else. If I was a falling snowflake I'd try to catch the light so you'd notice me. I'd sparkle and shine for a moment and would try to take a long look at you...but especially at your eyes. I think I've longed to see them most.
