So, Clever Is The New Suspicious - Poem by Michael Walkerjohn
Clever word’, work’, and worth’
tricks to urge, that converge, inducing courage
TO FORM THAT OR THIS DIRGE…
Clever smiles across the miles of piles
of shit each wage earner eats daily
FOR THOSE MEAGER BENEFITS AND WAGES…
Clever representation, taxation, domination
this Nation; NOT ITS OWN, since 1814
when that “Crown”; BURNED D.C. DOWN!
Clever banks, corporations, institutions, cops
university’, media, and all of
you IGNORANT OR LAZY 99%-err fools!
Clever, ever cleverer than you
ignorant masses sitting on your fat asses
because no R.P.G.’; ARE LANDING NEAR YOU!
Clever, clever, clever; how the waters you
drink, the foods you throw out and
the THINGS YOU NEEDLESSLY ABUSE…
Clever how these stenching piles of wanted
things, of heedless messages, of deafened
HEARTS, MINDS, SOULS, EARS still…
Clever how the NEO-CONNING PROGRAM has
lulled you thoughtless, left you blinded
mindless, listless; AND MOSTLY PEASANTS!
Cleaver in hand; clever how it fells, smug; neat!
tight, right, and ready to carve the
hearts out of each and every
ONE-PER-CENT-ERR! ! !
CLEVER CLEAVER CUTS, CHOPS, CARVES
CLEAVES THE ALL OF “THEM”! ! !
