So Easy To Forget Poem by Joyce Hemsley

So Easy To Forget

Humour Intended:

An educated man ~
He could learn and remember.
In fact, he was one of yesterday's
Bright intelligentsia.
But at eight decades, misery invades.
He gradually slides into dementia...
And now imagines fault-finding censure
From the educated men
Of today's intelligentsia.
