So, Happy Birthday, My Dear Better Half! Poem by Dr John Celes

So, Happy Birthday, My Dear Better Half!

Sweet Girl! God-predestined to be my wife!
You spent a quarter century with me;
Today's your birthday once again in life;
Thank God for keeping you most happily.

God's blessings rained throughout your earthly days;
Don't brood about the lacunae of past;
God's grace and kindness came along always;
God won't abandon us in world so vast.

The New Year brings your birthday too so soon;
In life, you're inseparable, my moon!
The future will be happier than we think;
By fervent prayers, God, we ought to link.

Our daughters two are making us so proud;
God will show silver linings in the cloud;
Let set-backs small not bother us too much;
The day will come when God sends Midas' touch!

A birthday comes for one to happier feel;
Just count your blessings and your every feat;
You put your heart in making every meal;
Just sing and dance with joy with each heart-beat!

‘So, Happy Birthday, my dear Better Half;
May God bless you on your birthday today! '
Most lovingly dedicated to my beloved wife
