So, I Still Dream, Darling Poem by Hebert Logerie

So, I Still Dream, Darling

I exist in bone and in soul
So, I still dream, darling
Sweats come out of my pores
To extinguish the flames.

I dream like the derelict
Who travels like the clouds
In late autumn. On the parade float
Playboy's center folds are exposed like icons.

So, I still dream, darling
Of the unforgettable summers
Where we recited poems and fables.

Already and now
Things are upside down
On the boulevards of the universe.
