Welcome to the nut house.
Where there saying your crazy.
But truth be told it's those that are not willing to change that are truly insane.
I've seen it first hand from the bottle to the needle and everything in-between.
Obsession becomes trap when you can't let go.
Craving for one more taste of the emptiness of bliss.
Emotionally distant.
Come on let's craft our tin foil caps.
Come on let's listen to those voices telling us what to do.
Come on let's get on our knees talk to God.
Oh oh oh then the house card falls.
Paranoia becomes a full time job.
Trust becomes non existent from the bottom to the top.
But remember I don't blame you, oh I don't blame, not for that which you can't control.
But remember, I can never hate you no matter what you do.
So when walking off the edge, remember my thoughts will be always be of you.
No matter how deep down the rabbit hole you go.
Love is forever.
But I can never fix you.
Won't even try.
Instead I will hold on to the memories of being with you under a blazing blue sky.
Remembering the smile and laughter.
Not remembering the disaster unassuming of the afterwards.
Fairness is overrated, but always desired.
But it is never what inspires.
And today I feel so inspired.
Among the pain and grief there is a strange kind of relief.
Because I can finally accept it's over.
