So many drops of pure knowing—
Pearls of wisdom flood my heart.
I read and reread the Book of Life—
Ripples swelling into waves of light.
When, why, and how
Was I cast into this world of fire?
I ask not father, mother, nor son.
I seek the voice that whispers—
What shapes my essence?
What fuels my breath?
Who am I—
Servant or master,
Djinn, angel—divine?
Memory dissolves—
Cause, origin, self—
Scattered like windblown dust.
I call His name, but silence answers.
For He bears no name.
Who names the One
Who neither begets nor is begotten?
Good and evil—
Threads woven by His hand.
I pray, though I cannot know Him
As He knows Himself.
None among us holds His fullness,
None sees through His eyes.
Yet we are cast in His reflection—
Charged to bear His image whole.
Am I failing this sacred trust,
Straying from the path unseen?
Quietly, I stir—
Awakening, though not yet whole,
Waiting for light to unveil the dawn.
