So Many Old People In So Many Old Houses Poem by Dorsey Baker

So Many Old People In So Many Old Houses

Rating: 5.0

I remember
So many old people in
So many old house
When I was very young
I used to pass by
And wave at them
Those old people in those old houses
I remember
Some of them died
And they were carried away
In that long black car
Back then I didn't know
What getting old felt like
But I remember
That I really liked
All of them
Old people in them old houses
That I used to see and speak to
On my way home from school
