So Many Words And Letters - Poem by Vera Sidhwa
Amongst the quad trillion books
Written by global sages
How many words
And many letters do you think they used?
The wisdom and imagination of so many
Authors, newsmen and poets
Must be hard to guess.
I wonder how much.
The quad trillion books
Of ages gone by
Have enriched our minds so much.
We have been educated as such.
We read, then write even so slight.
Even we learn how to from the sages
Our civilization has been enriched
Through the use of words through the ages.
