So Miss Rosabella Say Poem by Tor Magnor Solvang

So Miss Rosabella Say

Sun is hot, days are long,
Feeling tired, not quite strong.
Water's full, yet still I thirst,
Brain feels cloudy, thoughts dispersed.

Moving slow, muscles ache,
A heavy feeling, for goodness sake.
Not from sleep, or lack of treat,
Something vital, I can't meet.

When I sweat, in sun or play,
More than water goes away.
Little minerals, I can't see,
Sodium, potassium, for me.

Magnesium, calcium too,
Help my body see me through.
Muscles need them, to not cramp tight,
Brain needs them for thoughts so bright.

Heartbeat steady, strong and bold,
Cells need these, a story told.
Water in, and water out,
Without them, there's just doubt.

Drink and drink, but still feel dry,
Foggy head beneath the sky.
Summer's heat, it takes its toll,
Losing minerals, makes me feel not whole.
