So Today We Interned Your Ashes... Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

So Today We Interned Your Ashes...

So today we interned your ashes
Parents reunited again in love
A tale of eternal journey

You rest in line with a tree so beautiful and statuesque
The greenest of nature's green
Standing like you tall in life
A deserved spot for two who loved each other unconditionally

What a feeling of loss we miss you dearly
Thoughts of the good times we had
Pictures that will last forever in our heads

A place to go and be with you again
To talk to reminisce to tell you our troubles
A place where flowers can bloom
A reminder of the beauty your radiated on this earth

I hope you can hear us when we say we love you
I hope you can see us and the love we continue as we tend to your plot

Tucked into bed the Gardner said
A lovely phrase as we lay you to rest
A head stone now to sort with words from our loving hearts

So today we interned your ashes
Another day never to forget
A day the light shone on our beautiful parents again a light shining forever a beacon for those you left behind.
