Two Rivers Poem by Sebastian Melmoth

Two Rivers

Rating: 5.0

The story of two rivers woven in the hands of time
Referenced in epic tales
A powerful landmark to behold in awesome awe.

Calm waters tranquil and true
Natures fete destined to meet
Like old friends reunited once more

A flowing story book reflection of ole Tamworth Town
Beauty caresses its banks as the rivers stroll by
Waves of principle tributaries

Sunny days bringing smiles to your travellers crossing The Lady Bridge
Seeing the spectacle of life above
Opened minds eyes peer down, imagination to the life you hide beneath

Sometimes still, sometimes spate
Each flow stimulating our life's canvass
Vivid, strong like a quaint oil painting.

Rivers Anker and Tame go their parting ways
The hello's, the adieu's the streams valediction
The cycle of life, the beat of Two Rivers charm.
