So What’s The Truth Mr Bush? Poem by Troy William Smith

So What’s The Truth Mr Bush?

Rating: 5.0

So what’s the truth Mr Bush?
That meant you had to go.
You said it was chemical weapons,
Yet they failed to show.

So what’s the truth Mr Bush?
That meant you had to make war
You then said it was human rights
A democracy you’ve tried to install.

So what’s the truth Mr Bush?
The evil dictator you must overthrow
Because your daddy never succeeded
You wanted to have a go

So what’s the truth Mr Bush
Was it America’s greed for oil?
Something you’ve always denied.
Why else spill blood on foreign soil?

Now there is a power vacuum
You didn’t get your prize
Do a deal with the insurgents
You’ll help another evil rise.
