Social Anxiety Poem by Jordane Parkes

Social Anxiety

Rating: 4.5

There's this thing called Social Anxiety
Not knowing if I'll ever be able to
function in this society
This feeling of being constantly trapped in a cage
Gathering all the torment that's waged
Every day I'm accused as a bluffer
But people don't know the pain I suffer
All the pain outweighs the gains
Things I can't control
Things out of my range
Things I can't refrain
This thing called Anxiety
Has a got a grip on me
But now I need someone to set me free
