Society Let Me Be Poem by Ana Z. M.

Society Let Me Be

Rating: 4.8

Let me be what I am,
Let me feel what I feel,
Stop worrying about what people will think,
If I do something good, or something bad.

I want to live my life,
I want to feel my feelings,
I don’t want to be too young for pain and love,
Or too old for games and fun.

Let me be me,
Stop controlling what I am,
I want to be free,
To escape from all your rules and commands.

Society stop talking about me,
Stop inventing fake rumors,
Believe in what I am,
Let me be myself at least for once.

Very intense and expressive of how we all felt at one time. Well done.

Very intence write, filled with many different complex emotions that do seem trying, however life does this to us.. We all have Rules ana..... I know what you are feeling.... Very nicely written and composed with a stern attitude towards your feelings in life...... Bonnie
